Open Access Policy

The scientific journal “Folk Art and ethnology” in its activity adheres to the basic standards of the Open Access Policy set out in the texts of Budapest Open Access Initiative (2002), statements in Bethesda (a suburb of Washington, USA) regarding the support of the idea of Open Access (2003) and Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities (2003).

Sharing the principles of the international scientific community, the editorial board of the journal “Folk Art and ethnology” understands “Open Access” as the posting of full texts of scientific articles on the website freely and for free that can be read, downloaded, printed, use for compiling bibliographic indexes, enter as data for software or use for other legitimate purposes in the absence of financial, legal and technical obstacles, except those governing access to the Internet itself.

Open and free access to the scientific content of the journal “Folk Art and ethnology” is provided under the terms of the international license Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0  

Users can freely read, download, print, refer to the full texts of articles, necessarily indicating the authorship. At the same time, it is prohibited to use scientific content for commercial purposes, as well as the distribution of “derivative materials” created as a result of processing and paraphrasing of articles published in the journal.
